One night only in New Cross...
Next Wednesday 24th April I'm joined by very special friends from South Africa, Switzerland and Nepal.
https://www.kitrecords.com/cara-stacey
Cara Stacey is a South African musician and researcher. She is a pianist and plays southern African musical bows (umrhubhe, uhadi, makhoyane). Beyond her solo work, Cara collaborates with percussionist and drummer Sarathy Korwar in the project Pergola and is a member of the Cape Town-based Shh..Art Ensemble. Released through Kit in 2015, her debut album Things That Grow - featuring Shabaka Hutchings, Seb Rochford, Ruth Goller, Crewdson and Dan Leavers - was a dizzying fusion of traditional South African instrumentation, modern jazz and electronics.

Hailing from Nepal, Roshan Gurung blends traditional Nepalese song with western pop and experimental influences. He is currently studying an MA in composition at Goldsmiths.
Inclementine Reunion!
What do you call an orange in the snow? Risen from the depths like a dazzling seed loaf, the founding fledglings of Inclementine (the gone-but-not-forgotten reprobates of non-pop) reunite at Club Integral Midlands to show us what they’ve learned in their years apart. Expect old and new from their post-sorrowful milieu… a tribute to beautifully wasted afternoons in the Capetonian Sun and stoic strolls thru fox-addled neighbourhoods. Expect strings, piano, bass, musical bows and three-part harmony.

Next Stop: Malmö, Sweden for the Audible Transitional Object
Excited to search for the Audible Transitional Object with @monoganon @richard.greenan @reckn0 @francispatrickbrady and others in Malmö's Inter Arts Center on Saturday March 9.
"We invite you and your children to experience the 'Audible Transitional Object' workshops of little-known Swedish child psychologist Leif Calloiscott.
The event is the result of some research, investigations and experiments by John B McKenna and Francis Patrick Brady.
We will go on a total fantasy lead by his fantastic playscripts and the intuition of the children's brains.
Snacks will be provided, bring your favourite instrument, toy or security blanket. We are hoping Leif will come along himself but he is an illusive character."
